In analogy to doing and undoing gender, the concepts of doing and undoing care are about making visible and critically questioning the societal and norms in caring activities . What do we contribute to the fact that care and care work are held in low esteem and devalued? In these concepts, care is conceived in terms of practice theory. The care or care work and who performs it is not understood as a natural constant, but as a social practice that has to be produced (cf. Müller 2018: 86).
